10 desktop templates
Build desktop apps with AI
Describe a desktop app and get one: Electron with React, Vue, Svelte or plain TypeScript in the window, built into Windows, macOS and Linux installers on your own GitHub account. Any web app you build here can become a desktop app the same way.
How it works
- 1Pick a desktop starter below, or start from any web app
- 2Describe the app; the builder writes it with a live preview beside the chat
- 3Press Desktop app in the builder: it generates the Electron shell and pushes it to your GitHub repository
- 4GitHub Actions builds the installers on your account and attaches them to a private draft release
- 5Download the Windows, macOS and Linux builds from NewAgentsHub

Every desktop project gets
- A cloud sandbox with a live preview of the running app
- A real terminal with 15 coding CLIs — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI, Gemini CLI and more
- AI on your own keys from 24 providers, billed by the provider at cost
- Its own GitHub repository from the first push
Where it can go
Desktop builds are private: they are attached to a draft release in your own repository and downloaded from NewAgentsHub. The macOS build is unsigned unless you sign it yourself, so the first launch goes through System Settings → Open Anyway.
Questions
Can I build a desktop app with AI?
Yes. Pick one of 10 desktop templates — Windows, macOS and Linux installers with Electron — and describe what you want. The builder writes the code in a cloud sandbox with a live preview and a real terminal, using your own AI provider key.
How do I get the installers?
Desktop builds are private: they are attached to a draft release in your own repository and downloaded from NewAgentsHub. The macOS build is unsigned unless you sign it yourself, so the first launch goes through System Settings → Open Anyway.
What happens when I press Start?
You sign up — or, if you are already signed in, go straight on — and the New Web App dialog opens with that template picked. Set the name, stack, design, model and MCP tools there, then press Create.
Do I own the code?
Yes. The project is pushed to your own GitHub repository, and you can open a terminal on it at any point.
